Nelson Weddings - Tayla & Logan - Rough Island Ceremony, Founders Park (The Granary) Reception

What do you do when a few weeks out from your wedding you discover you’re without a photographer? Well, if you’re Tayla & Logan you call me! Luckily for them I happened to have a Saturday free because of a cancellation, so the stars aligned and we got to team up. We kept joking that the universe had thrown us together and I couldn’t agree more, what an amazing day!

Tayla & Logan’s wedding ceremony took place on Rough Island, a special spot not far from Nelson. The bridal party travelled in style, riding in cars borrowed from Nelson’s Classic car Museum! Their vows were personal and caused more than one guest to shed a tear, including the couple’s gorgeous wee toddler Olive (although her tears might have been tantrum related…). We made our way into the pine forest for some epic photos before heading to their reception venue - The Granary at Founders park.

The bridal party made us wait for their entrance, the delay explained when a bridesmaid and groomsman arrived having swapped outfits - too funny! After a delicious dinner and heartfelt speeches the dancefloor lit up and I took my cue to sneak off. What a beautiful day with a beautiful couple.
