I hate being photographed, will you still be able to get good photos?

Absolutely! I’m the photographer for people who hate being photographed. We’ll be having too much fun for you to worry about your photo being taken. Promise.

How do we book you?

Once you’ve decided I’m the photographer for you, I’ll send over a contract and an invoice for your 25% deposit.

How many weddings do you take a year?

Because I offer a boutique-style experience, I limit my weddings to 12 every year.

Can you hold/reserve my wedding date?

I work on a first-come-first-served basis, so your date isn’t secure until I’ve received your 25% retainer and signed contract. If you’re keen to chat more, please get in touch sooner rather than later – I hate being a heartbreaker…

Can we meet in person?

Totally! I encourage it, and I’m down for a few in-person meetings before your big day to make sure we’ve got that great connection.

Should we book an engagement shoot?

I really recommend it. Not only is it a great bonding experience that will leave you with gorgeous photos, it also means you know ahead of time that I’m not kidding when I say I make photoshoots fun! In fact, I’m so convinced you should have an engagement shoot that I include one in all my full day packages!

How many photos will we receive?

I don’t like to give you a maximum number - just a rough idea! If I love the photo then you’ll get the photo, and I’ll take an unlimited amount.

Can you photoshop me?

My policy is that if we’ve got a ‘visitor’ like a spot or bruise then I’m more than happy to remove it. If there’s something you’re self-conscious about, let me know and I’ll use my years of knowledge to pose you!

Can you travel out of Nelson Tasman?

When will we get our photos?

You’ll receive your photos within 25 working days of your wedding.

We can’t wait 5 weeks for our photos! Can we get them sooner?

Good things take time, and for every hour I’m at your wedding, I’m editing at my desk for 4. But don’t worry, I send a sneak peek within 24 hours to tide you over.

Do you send us a USB?

I used to, and then I realised that the first thing you’ll do is upload your photos to share with people. So I cut that step out for you! Also, USBs always get lost (true story: my husband had to rescue our wedding photos from the bin when I accidentally threw them away…). Let’s not risk that.

Do we need to feed you?

Trust me - you don’t want a hangry photographer! If I’m with you for longer than 6 hours, I require a meal. I’m hulking around way too much camera gear to add a lunchbox into the mix.

Do you offer prints?

I sure do! Your gallery is connected to a high-quality print lab, so you can order prints and frames in just a few clicks.
